SINULOG 2015

SInulog Festival is one of the most awaited festivity by most of the Filipinos especially the Cebuanos. Coming from different places, people all gather in Cebu to celebrate it. It's a way of thanksgiving to the Senyor for all the bountiful, immeasurable graces we all received day by day: from the sunny to the rainy days of our lives. I have been a witnessed on how people make this day extraordinarily special; preparing for it for a long time. When I was in college, all nursing students are required to attend the procession. It's equated to a one day duty hence, if you don't attend it's a three days extension. But the feeling after it was beyond compare. Those painful feet where overlooked. That explainable feeling of grandiosity just overpowers your system, making your cells dance to the beat of Sinulog. On the Sinulog Day, students from different universities are deem to participate. Human barricade, helping the festival flow smoothly; attesting to the awesome talents of Fili[inos dancing on the street with the Sinulog beat.
This Sinulog Festivel is an arcane. People party not just because it is a festivity but simply because it's SINULOG time, it's thanksgiving time, it's happiness time. The smiles, the laughter, the memories, all are worth every time and effort.

Now, SINULOG 2015 is just days away. it's another Sinulog to miss. However, even if I am miles aways from Cebu, my heart will still beat for SINULOG. Viva! Pit Senior! #Sinulog2015

i have known this sky walk adventure way back college. and yes! i really wanted to try it. but i was afraid then that i might not did it. well, i was completely wrong. i had the chance to make it to this adventure with this great people. it was terrifying at first, thinking how tall the building is and  how it's gonna feel like walking in that small space looking down the street. but, when i did it and finished the adventure, it was just a no-challenge thing. HAHAHA.

ICT-BEYOND TRADITION

Today's generation is among the most advance generation in terms of technology. Even in the field of Information Communication, it was not just an evolution but a speedy change. The upgrades in ICT has brought a lot of change on the way people live, learn and play. It helps make things more comfortable and less hassle. From the long waited telegrams to second call away and just one click message away. From a tiresome and an error prone typewriting to a more convenient encoding. From the traditional collection of pictures to a worldwide accessible online photos. From a thick dusty books to a various internet source of information. From those afternoon overheard drama on radios to a more updated music playlist. From a black and white entertainment shows to a high definition videos on YouTube and other websites. However the advantages of ICT depends much on how people use for their benefits. It does not stand alone. It depends on how people let it control their lives. Though sometimes, it is abused and overused leading to its negativities. Nevertheless, as long as its positive side is focused, its disadvantages will be overlooked.

THE RUINS-Bacolod

This is my first out of town travel with workmates. I was hesitant at first but never regretted in the end. This photo was taken at The Ruins in Bacolod City, located in the midst of the sugarcane farm of the Lacson family. It's a beautiful remain of a tragic event years ago. The memories of the house nourishes its soul making it even more beautiful even after it was horribly ruined. Now it's a good destination for an intellectual relaxation. and a reception area for a beautiful memory.

it's my life..

A child was born 1 am last August 25, 1991 (that's me). I'm the only child of my parents (feeling lucky). I was entitled with a name Rya Rose Robles Tecson. Experience guides me to become who I am today. My life was never a bed of roses;it was a long, long chain of trials. Nevertheless, I am ever grateful that in every endeavor I've encountered, my family and friends inspires me constantly.  I grew up with their great influences and supervision, supporting me in everything I do, pushing me to become more than who I can be. Life may mock at me and pull me down, but  I'm always ready to stand and start a better life again and again. Giving up was never option, though it is a permanent temptation. Because life comes once, hence it is to be experienced up to its smallest atom.
